Community Involvement
Pittsburgh Transportation Group supports many community and charitable groups. The company's annual golf tournament donates all proceeds to Camp Kon-O-Kwee. In addition, PTG recently donated a fully equipped, sixteen passenger bus to the Camp, outfitted for physically challenged, and hearing and visually impaired individuals.
Embassy Coach/Limousine is the "official limousine service" of the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In 2005/06 Pittsburgh Transportation Group was the official transportation company of the Pittsburgh Wine Festival, the Pennsylvania Restaurant Show and Children's Hospital Gala. Major League Baseball choose PTG as the official transportation management company for its 2006 All Start Game.
The group of companies is a member of the Taxi ,Limousine and Paratransit Association, Visit Pittsburgh, the Laurel Highlands Convention and Visitors Bureau, Meeting Professional International, the Pittsburgh Society of Association Executives,the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, Pittsburgh Business Travel Association, and the Pittsburgh Technology Council.
