Embassy Coach/Limousine
Embassy Coach is a full service, ground transportation company designed to meet the needs of the upscale traveler. Embassy specializes in corporate executive car service utilizing late model Cadillac Sedan Devilles. The fleet also consists of specialty vans, limousines, limousine vans, coaches and a limousine bus. Options include beverages, newspapers, and flowers.
Express Shuttle
Express Shuttle specializes in both local and regional transfer and shuttle service to and from Pittsburgh International Airport. Scheduled service provides transportation to hotels in Downtown, Oakland, Southside, Station Square, Shadyside, Northside and Green Tree. Express offers the ONLY scheduled shuttle service to/from the airport. Private charter service for schools, corporate, government and convention groups also available, in addition to tour planning service.
Freedom Coach
A service specifically designed for members of the community who find transportation a barrier to normal, everyday life. Freedom offers a wide array of upscale services, including wheelchair transportation, sedan transportation, group, and contract movements, passenger assistance, personal nursing assistance, shopping services, and programs for seniors and persons with cognitive disabilities.
Group Charter Service
A full service ground transporation company , the Charter Service Division currently operates over 250 vehicles; wheelchair accessible minivans and 21, 25 and 36 passenger coaches. The vehicles shuttle employees and parking patrons for many of Pittsburgh's major corporations, banks, hospitals, and universities. It also offers service for convention groups, meetings, and social events.
Star Paratransit
Star is part of the Allegheny County ACCESS program. The division operates sedans, vans, and wheelchair vehicles for seniors and those with disabilities.
Yellow Cab Company
Yellow Cab Company, established in 1913, operates over 300 taxicabs on call and demand service throughout Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities. Pittsburgh's largest taxi company, it is regulated by the Pennsylvania Utility Commission. Service is available 24/7.
Marketing and Sales Department
The Marketing and Sales Department focuses on community relations and transportation contract sales and service for each of the divisions. In addition, transit advertising sales for taxicab tops, bus wraps, and interior vehicle advertising are its responsibility. Convention movements, corporate groups, and social event services are also handled by this division.
Safety and Training
The Safety and Training Department works to ensure the safety of both customers and employees. An Advanced Safety Professional is on staff who oversees the work of the National Safety Council instructors employed by Pittsburgh Transportation Group. These instructors teach defensive driving for all drivers, and also administer the drug and alcohol policies of the company. Drivers also receive instruction in fire safety and customer service.
